DEED IN LIEU OF FORECLOSURE

A deed in lieu of foreclosure is a legal agreement between a borrower and a lender in which the borrower voluntarily transfers the title of their property to the lender in order to avoid foreclosure. This option is typically used when a borrower has exhausted all other options and is unable to continue making mortgage payments and wants to avoid the negative consequences of foreclosure.

By transferring the property to the lender, the borrower is released from their debt obligation, and the lender can proceed with the sale of the property to recoup their losses.

"Debbie helped me sell my sister's home after a family emergency that required my sister to move into an adult family home. Since I live 80 miles away and am frequently out of the country for my job, it was critical that I find someone who could take care of the many things without me in order to sell the home to its best advantage. Debbie made everything happen on time, professionally, and with a great outcome."

Debbie and her team were professional from start to finish in selling our first home. It was an easy process and before we knew it our house was sold. Thanks Debbie for selling our home and making the whole process go so smoothly. If we ever need to sell again we know who we will call.
